Hannah Kleboe
Senior Sales Consultant
Hannah looks after clients booked on our open-age tours, arranging flights, insurance and additional travel. She is a graduate in languages from Cambridge University and speaks Spanish, German and French. Hannah has over fifteen year’s experience in the travel industry. Hannah has managed Academy Travel tours to Spain and Italy.

Stuart Barrie
Director - Senior Sales Consultant
Stuart has 25 years' experience in the travel industry and is a director of Academy Travel. Stuart’s great passion is 20th century history and his detailed knowledge covers both European and American history. He regularly leads tours to Germany and the United States for Academy Travel.
Hayley Monson
Groups Administrator
Hayley joined Academy Travel in early 2015. Her responsibilities at Academy Travel include processing bookings and payments, dispatching welcome packs and pre-departure materials and supporting our senior retail consultants. Hayley has qualifications in marketing and graphic design and also runs an internet business dealing in vintage fashion deerfieldvintage.com.au
Damien Flint
Marketing and Event Manager
Damien co-ordinates itinerary production, tour evaluations, pre-departure documents and manages our website. He has travelled to Canada, Vietnam and the United States. Damien draws and paints, and his fine eye ensures our websites and printed documents look good.
Robert Veel
Director - Product Manager
Robert has 20 years' experience designing and leading educational travel programs and is a director of Academy Travel. He has designed and led many tours to Italy, Turkey and the United States, as well as travelling to Asia, North Africa, the Middle East, Russia and Canada. Robert's special interest is in Italian medieval and Renaissance history.
Mark Lalor
Product Manager
Mark is a product manager with Academy Travel’s open-age programs, co-ordinating tour leaders, pre-departure events and liaising with tour operators. Mark has lived in Japan and has travelled widely across Southeast Asia, Europe, Africa and the USA. Mark has a strong interest in the food, art and history of different cultures fuelled by over 20 year experience working in travel. He speaks fluent Japanese.
Robina Frosinini
Product Manager
Robina is a product manager for Academy Travel's open-age programs, creating new tour itineraries, facilitating existing tours and managing tour leaders. Drawn by the allure of Italy, Robina made Florence her home for ten years. During that time she was general manager of Abercrombie & Kent Italy. She has travelled extensively throughout Italy, much of Europe and the USA. Robina has over 20 years experience in the travel industry. She speaks fluent Italian.
Dr Nick Gordon
Product Manager
Nick leads and manages open age tours to Italy and Europe and develops art-focused tours. He has a University Medal and PhD in European history and has led tours to Europe for Academy travel since 2007. His knowledge of and interest in art comes from his research and his practice as a painter.
Dr Kathleen Olive
Academic Researcher and Writer
Kathleen is known to Academy Travellers as one of our most skillful tour leaders. When she is not abroad, Kathleen works as our academic officer creating and editing tour notes. Kathleen’s doctorate is in Italian literature, and she has a strong interest in medieval history and contemporary fiction writing. When she is not working on tour notes, Kathleen leads tours to Italy, the United States, Spain and Turkey for Academy Travel.
Fergus Geddes
Director - Retail Consultant
Fergus has more than 20 years' experience in the travel industry and is a director of Academy Travel. Fergus manages the retail side of our operation, using his extensive knowledge of airlines and fares to ensure our clients have access to the best travel options available. Fergus has many years experience as a tour manager for groups in Europe and Australia.
Claudia Pfeiffer
Academy Europe
Claudia is the manager of Academy Europe, our Rome-based company which is responsible for managing relations with hotels and other suppliers in western Europe. Claudia has over 25 years' experience organising incoming travel in Europe. She speaks fluent English, German, Italian and French.
